Alljärgnevalt paari võõras keeles reaga aprilli alguses toimuvast rootsi mudelinäitusest. Rootslased võtsid meiega läbi minimaailma e maili ühendust, ning palusid oma üritust veidi reklaamida, juhuks kui leidub veel kedagi, kes ei peaks teadma, et selline asi toimub. Ma ise sel aastal ei plaani minna, kuid minu teada Militaar.net seltskond mingis kooseisus on sinna liikumas. Kui on huvi, võib uurida, et millal ja millega mehed liiguvad, äkki saab ka kaasa trügida.
IPMS Stockholm arranges Modellexpo 08-Open 2017, 8-9 April, at Skytteholm school in Solna. With over 30 years of tradition Modellexpo 08-Open is one of the largest model exhibition/contests in Sweden and one of the most important in the Nordic countries. Modellexpo 08-Open is much more than a model contest, there are also traders, commercial as well as private, a café with sandwiches and beverages, model club exhibitions from Miniatyrsällskapet, Flaskskepparna, and Svenska Modellhästföreningen, amongst others. There will be special exhibitions to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of independence, a Matchbox exhibition and a show of Work-in-Progress. This year’s theme is Science Fiction with both contest and exhibition classes.
During Saturday CCM will hold their yearly model car contest.
On Sunday Mr Simon Owen of Hornby Hobbies will give a presentation titled “Scaling down reality” on how the moulds for plastic models actually are created.
Open for the public: Saturday 12:00–16:00 and Sunday 10:00–15:00.
Entrance fee for visitors is 80 SEK, children under 15 and IPMS member are free.
